Sorry, I don't have a spare mount. I suppose you could probably use a file. A Dremel may work better/faster. You'll just want to make sure you remove all of the radius so the mount sits flat on the slide. If you look at the link that the previous poster provided, in the picture you can see the gap between the mount & the slide. He just used the mount as-is. That's bad!! It sounds like because of that had problems with the mount coming loose after a few rounds. If you look closely at my picture, you can see that I left the radius on the mount in the area of the dove tail. I believe that helps with the harsh back & forth motion of the slide and it takes some stress off the screws. It was pretty easy to do on a mill but may be harder to achieve with a file. I'm not totally sure it's necessary but it gives me piece of mind. If you'd like, I can take some closer, more detailed pictures of the mount so you have a better idea. I'd prefer to not remove the mount though.
