Taking the creep out

I have a G21 that has a lot of creep in the trigger. I put the whole ghost trigger kit in and it made it lighter but there is a lot more creep compared to my G17.
Anything I can do????

Which kit did you buy? I am going to order the Rocket transfer bar. What takes the pretravel out is the extra tab on the transfer bar. I plan on reducing my pretravel by at least 50%.

Yes, quit thinking you can buy yourself into being a better shot. There's nothing wrong with the stock trigger unless you're one of the 1% that are championship grade shooters that a match trigger will benefit for COMPETITON and not defense.

Quit buying gimmicks and practice. If you don't know how to shoot then spend the money you're wasting downrange for a lesson with someone who knows how to shoot & can help you. You'll be dollars ahead.

I have had many Glocks none had this creep you talk of.
I put in a Glock 3.5 connector, G17 trigger bar assembly. Polish the bar, and the connector = one nice trigger!

Pre travel

The pre-travel is what completes the cocking stroke of the striker. Anything that you do to alter that compromises the design of the gun. If you wanted something different you shouldn't have bought a Glock.

I still want some, just not so much. For those that are picking on us, its all about trigger control and ther individual shooter. It makes a huge difference where the trigger breaks as related to the size of one's hands.

Just remember, as you are trimming the tab, take it in itsy bitsy, very tiny increments. Then take it out to shoot, to be sure it works like a Glock should. Happy tinkering.

The Ghost Rocket and "that tab" has nothing to do with PRE travel. That tab is to eliminate OVER travel, after the trigger "breaks". It helps with a shorter reset.

PRE travel is the distance the trigger has to move to reach the break, and the Ghost Rocket will not have *any* bearing on that.

Remember, PRE travel is usually the definition of how the far the trigger has to move for the FIRST shot, not for follow up shots when you can start using the "reset". Yes, the Ghost helps there, but it is more from reducing the over travel, such that moving back to the reset is not as far as without it.
