The Dead Pool...

Worst action sequence ever?

Being chased through a city by a toy car?

WTF.

If the Dead Sea keeps evaporating faster than replenishing, that's exactly what it'll become

After the first 3, the Dirty Harry franchise just up and died.

I think I liked Sudden Impact better than the Enforcer.

Really??? That terrible acting skeleton of a co-star was frightening. I'm not Tyne Daly fan, but I'll take her over Locke every day.

The only thing good about Sudden Impact is my favorite line to my middle daughter:

"Nobody but NOBODY puts ketchup on a hotdog!"

Funny trivia I read on Sudden Impact - they had to keep a diver on hand for the final scene (with the Automag) because when the pistol jammed (which it did frequently apparently) Eastwood would throw it into the water!

(Probably was an issue with the blanks really).

OK, I remember seeing that line in the previews to something with my Dad. We looked at eachother and said, "Oh yeah!"

Funny - that's the one thing we did together. Not a ton, but I can remember half-a-dozen movies just he and I went to when I was 9-13 or so. We saw Airplane together, as well as Sudden Impact, Rambo II (and III, I think), and Jaws II.

I remember Jaws II was sold out. We had to wait 2 hours to see it. I thought for sure that we were going home. Nope. We waited in the lobby for 2 hours. I don't think he said a word. But we waited. ??????? 78 was about the time my father changed from a happy-go-lucky dad to a beat-down afraid employee.
