sorry if I misinterpreted what you were saying.

I'm glad you came back and addressed you're earlier statement. I thought it was being misinterpreted but it didn't look good. Chris Kyle was a true patriot and a hero in my mind. God rest his soul.

Chris Kyle is a hero. On top of that he died trying to help his fellow vets. This is tragic.
R.I.P. Chris Kyle.

My apologies also.
I was pretty pissed about this:
http://twitchy.com/2013/02/03/twiste...im-chris-kyle/
and probably misconstrued your intent

Chris Kyle was no stranger to PTSD and had been actively involved in helping others for quite a while. I am suspicious that he was taken by surprise. A lifetime of survival and "trusting your gut" and a finely tuned sense of danger.....and taken out like this?
Dunno....just strikes me as very weird. Hopefully we will find out.

This truly makes me absolutely sick. What a true American Hero, fallen in his prime - only 38.
I bought his book as soon as it came out and really enjoyed it. The way he wrote, it felt like you were sitting at a bar with him listening to him tell his war stories. Great writing voice. He just seemed like a damned fine human being and an example for everyone.
I bought a patch & hat from his company after I learned about it through his book.
Just bought a t-shirt & beanie to wear, show my support for him, and financially support his family now that this has happened.

This is just so damned sad.

I did the same thing (bought a hat). I'm going to wear it every time I go to the range in his memory. And my deepest sympathies to his family. We lost a true American Hero.

I just had to say this............
There are a good group of people critical of Chris Kyle for whatever reasons. Those same people in my opinion have not earned the right, or deserve to breathe the same air Chris did. These same b...........ds have no idea or care of the sacrifices American Veterans have made throughout the world to insure their sorry ass freedoms! Now I feel better. I am terribly sad of the loss of Chris Kyle. He believed in what he was doing.

From another recent article:
Quote:
"Chris was a hero as much on the home front as on the battlefield, a man who dedicated his life in recent years to supporting veterans, and donated the proceeds of American Sniper to the families of his fallen friends," said Peter Hubbard, Morrow's executive editor.
"Chris would never keep any money for appearances or book signings. It all went to others," said Burgess, a Mansfield-based constable.
Burgess said he and Kyle planned to work security together at the Super Bowl on Sunday, but logistical issues prevented Kyle from traveling. He said his friend always wore a smile and enjoyed a good laugh.
Burgess said Kyle told him he planned to attend a police academy and start a career in law enforcement.
"He really wanted to be a cop and continue serving his country," Burgess said

It would be nice if somebody actually identified her, so people could offer her a personal response.

Those comments are beyond rude and disgusting. Those people don't deserve the freedom that Chris Kyle helped afford them.

I met a neighbor for the first time yesterday because a buddy of mine was out smoking on the porch. Turns out the guy was a Marine at Fallujah and knew Chris Kyle. He had nothing but good to say about Chris and believed he saved a lot of Marine lives. He was a little surprised we knew about Chris's murder.
