wonder what the motive is? I know he killed a couple criminals trying to carjack him. Maybe revenge? Maybe random?

They are saying it was another veteran who was part of a PTSD support group he was helping with.

From a friend that lives next door to Chris in Midlothian, all three men, the shooter, Chris and the second victim all live in the same neighborhood and were friends.

I just read his book. Stunned. He was a warrior to the core. Rest in peace.

Sure is strange. Shot by a PTSD patient that he was helping or counseling, who was in a gun range with him?? I don't like to wear the tinfoil hat, but until we learn more about this, I'm going to shake my head and wonder.

It was a charity event held at the gun range for wounded warriors. What is not to believe?

I agree. A Navy SEAL survives multiple combat tours in foreign lands thousands of miles away... comes home, enjoys his new quit civilian life...just to get murdered by a PTSD veteran.

What a horrible tragic way to go. Life truly isnt fair.

I wonder how this is going to affect any veteran who has been diagnosed with PTSD and currently owns guns?

Now there is a very sad precedence. Now those who want to take guns away from vets with PTSD have ground to stand on.

This is going to get ugly.

I hate to ask a stupid question...but why would you take a PTSD patient to a gun range and surround him (or her) with guns?

Isnt that similar to taking a pedophile to an elementary school or an alcoholic to a bar etc etc. It doesnt seem like a wise choice of therapy to me.
