Beautiful 1911. I would like to know the long term reliability of this pistol, since 9mm 1911's are not known to be as reliable as the 45's.

Guess you know little about Guncrafter Industries? 
A GI is not you standard run of the mill 1911. Do some research.

Speak on it!!! I don't think Alex would have let this 9mm leave his shop if it had problems. For smaller shops, they can't afford to have pistols coming back to get fixed. From what I know about Alex, he will not release a pistol until he knows it is reliable. Thats why I am anxiously waiting for him to announce some new models.  BTW, I will let you know if I have any problems with this one.
