Advice on purposed trade?

I have someone that wants to trade their sks-m for my 15-22 (which I haven't even shot yet) ... I've always wanted an sks-m and wondering if this is a good deal ? I know SKS's are $300ish and M's/D's +$100 ... But I don't know much about them honestly.

Going off the assumption that your "15-22" is a Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 I would not do it. If you can find a M&P 15-22 right now they are selling for $600+. If ammo prices on the 223 side stay where they are you are going to see the value in that rifle go way up.

i'd agree with the monk. sks haven't dried up. they are still out there. and probably getting ready to start hitting the offering blocks, to pay off the stupidity that was flowing hot and heavy.

give it a couple months and start looking, but i wouldn't make that trade.

just look at the photo. no way i'd make that trade.
