Anybody gonna give the new Blackberry a try?
I am, been using a Droid Pro with REAL not virtual keypad for a couple of years and was excited to see the old BB keypad.
I don't really surf the web for videos, just reading. Mostly text and email, don't need a huge screen even though I like the kids Iphone and Galaxy.
Hopefully my local Verizon store will get them in soon.

Physical keyboards are old tech and I don't know what they are trying to accomplish. Blackberry is just about DOA. They did not keep up with competition and now they are done.

They will also have one with a virtual keypad which will be the most popular I bet, I'm still old school and like the physical keypad.

+1.
I much prefer to be able to touch type on my real keyboard without having to look at the screen.

Because my company's IT dept like BB and won't support android then I might... They like BB for its email security/integrity. We hate BB's due to the crappy displays and web browser. I really like the ability to pop in a new battery on the go and a microsd slot that I have a ton of business files and music.
iPhone's in my business traveler world aren't as popular as one might think. Poor battery life and no microSD slot keep many away. When one really Depends on a phone for GPS, phone, Internet and Bluetooth battery life is key. My friends w/ iPhones don't make it thru a day w/o needing juice and since we travel a lot most carry some type of battery based charger.
I like the BB keyboard and would like a full screen w/ a slideou keyboard like some older models. I dont see that configuration yet... I!m not app hungry a few basics are all I want and I don't game..
If I had my choice I'd droid. If I get a new BB I'll post a review.

I just got rid of my BlackBerry and went back to an iPhone. I thought the BB sucked big time, the keypad buttons were useless, the screen was small. I only used it for work, I'm not a game guy. The BlackBerry just wasn't the right tool for me.
The only thing that's going to keep RIM and BlackBerry afloat is the DOD contract.
