Berrys Bullets in short supply
A sign of the times I guess.

I've got 4k 9mm 115gr coming. When I ordered, about a week ago, the website said 3 to 4 weeks before shipping.

Another 8k 147's came in two weeks ago to add to the pile but I read they are going to stop them and 200g swc until they catch back up.

I've been waiting a while for some .45, 230gn RN to come in. Hope this will level out in a couple of months. I'm just not sure this time. It seems different.

All of the reasonably priced bulk bullet makers are having trouble filling demand. PD and Zero don't have any what I want in stock. Hopefully they will by the time I need more.

It is certainly a weird feeling. I know that I have a several year supply of components on hand but I feel guilty about shooting any of them.
I expect that most of my shooting this year is going to be 22 and not as much of that as normal.

Yep, I went to the website yesterday and got the same message, so I ended up ordering 45's from Xtremebullets.

I ordered from Precision DeltaCorp about 3 weeks ago. Last weekend I emailed to determine if there was a problem, this was the response:
I am e-mailing to let you know we are behind at least 6 PLUS weeks on our shipping BULLETS and 2-3 weeks behind on shipping AMMUNITION.

I don't think they are the only bullet or component company having problems getting enough products out.

I placed and received an order from PowerBond very recently. No backorder. Great bullets. They might have some if looking for bullets.

No problem. Hope it works out. I have used about 3000 of them in the last few months in 10mm/.40 cal. Great bullets.

Everyone keeps telling me there is an ammo shortage, but I'm not having any problem finding .40 S&W.

The benefit of plated bullets in "the old days" were that they were CHEAPER than jacketed.
Now with that not being the case (Berry's are only slightly cheaper than say PD), I don't understand why people bother ?

Looks like they've not only stopped selling bullets, but they've completely shut down their web store.

Better buy a couple of bullet molds quick while you still can!

All joking aside, that is probably very good advice!

Hmm, I don't. I have always kept an adequate supply, one year min, for all my shooting needs. The cost of gas is limiting me more than ammo. I have to drive a min of 60 miles round trip to shoot, IDPA matches are further, throw in match or range fees, ammo is the cheap part.

Instead of WM, try the college parking lot, particularly where the teachers park. Might as well punish the liberals. SHould they even be driving cars?

Jees Fred when are you going to learn. Your car is bad for the environment. There car is just fine.
My plan for this weekends IDPA is lead bullets I made myself. That way I am just using primers and a little powder.
