I can do all of my business over the side of the boat. Please don't tug me to Mexico!

Being in Mexico was the worst experience of my life to date and I was only there for a few hours.

Tonight's news said that the passengers have started fighting and looting. Having taken a Carnival cruise once, I'm hardly surprised. HH

When the Carnival Ship Splendor caught fire last year off Ca. they cut off all the booze off.no hot food, booze, or running water for 3 days
But they will get a refund for this one and a free cruise at a later date.

I have not seen this reported anywhere.

I have a hard time believing this. Most cruises this time of year are FULL of retired folks and people on their honeymoon, and all the kids are in school. Now the ships are a mad house and always full on the holidays and in the summer.....and with that being said,

I have been on about 10, all at least 7 day cruises with Carnival. I have never seen or felt that I was around a bunch of thieves and criminals. Everyone is seems polite and having fun most of the time, even when losing in the casino.
None of the crew has stolen anything I may have left out while I was out of the room. I have never seen a fight by anyone, or anyone so drunk that they had to be helped to their room by staff.
I enjoy Carnival ships and I will continue to vacation with them when I cruise.
just my 2cents

Here ya go:

You won't catch me on a Carnival ship. I do hear that the majority of the problems are on the 3 and 4 day cruises as opposed to the 7 and over day cruises. Oh, and Carnival owns Costa Cruises so there's that too.

I do not envy those passengers or the crew. Rumor has it at least at the port here there are more issues when a short cruise Carnival ship is in port than some other lines.

The one Carnival we took and couldn't wait to get off of was a seven. I can only imagine the clientele on the shorter ones. HH

Got a friend o the ship. She is not happy. Apparently the rumors of food and towing are exaggerated.
