This is definitely just another anti-gunner posing as a pro-gunner and trying to garner sentiment.

It's amazing what these people will do to try and sway the public at large.

Everything about his story is ridiculous down to the staging and handling of his make-believe shotgun that 'somehow' pumped multiple times due to his 'terror.' Who stages a shotgun 'unloaded' with ammo 'in-a-box?'

Sounds like a low-budget Hollywood thriller. One shell rolls over just under the edge of the couch, resting against the leg of the couch with just a sliver of light on it from a window as they search for it in a moment of suspense.

Novelists/Screenwriters have to do a significant amount of research on firearms so they don't screw up the details of the story. Often, they still screw it up.

Lucky for us, you can't really 'fake' being a firearms person. You either are or you're not.

The fact is this: They can't find anyone, educated/experienced enough with firearms to fabricate a logical/believable BS story, who would have any interest in assisting them in their cause.

Keep the hilarious BS anecdotes coming. Aside from their almost infuriating untruthfulness, they're mildly entertaining.

I just saw the Emory University part - no way in h e double hockey sticks that metrosexual owned guns. Up until 2 1/2 years ago I lived about two miles from that place, so glad to be gone.

I also call BS on this story. Any one that has been around firearms knows that racking a shotgun three times when you put one shell in will unload the gun!! And why would you put the one gun your going to use for HD next to the door that people keep trying to break into? That's just dumb! Finally your HD gun has the desired affect and protected you and your girlfriend and you didnt even have to fire it..... So naturally it's bad and let's get rid of it. He said that after the attempted break in he saw that he might have to take someone's life with a firearm... Shouldn't he have been thinking about that possibility before he decided to store it in his house with ammunition next to it for the purpose of HD?

I called this turkey down once about something he said. His answer was very pro-gun to me. Said he had a lot of guns and was well practiced. I didn't reply to anymore of is posts because I thought he was a troll. Now after seeing this, it's pretty much confirmed that he is a troll. Who would keep their HD weapon in the closet UNLOADED?
