Got my new Glock 20 out today and put it on paper out to 100yds, At 25 it shoots about 8" high off of a rest, at 50yds it hits about 12" high, At 100 you still have to hold well under a 6" shoot&see to hit the target. Groups great just way the hell high. My handloads, 180 Hornady XTP's at book velocity, Not new to Pistols or handloading and carried a Glock 21 off and on for 15 years so I like to think it isnt me.

Is it possible this one could have the wrong sight's on it?

Not sure what to do so I would appreciate any advice.

No, it is rather common. The one I play with has a .190ish front sight to bring POI down with heavy bullets. Dawson precision sells individual front sights, or will work with you getting it exactly right if you buy their Perfect Impact set.

Talked to Glock customer service this morning and they suggested I send it in for them to check it out as they only have 2 sights avalible for it and depending on which sight it has will only change POI 4"? Hardly gonna get me the 12" I need???

My G29 shoots high with stock barrel and KKM barrel (trijicon 3 dot night sights on the G29). Same with my G19 with factory sights and KKM or stock barrel. I thought all Glocks shot high.

My g29 3rd gen came with some really funky sights - sight picture was very odd (when the white dot was aligned with the white bars of the back sight, the black plastic portion of the front sight was higher than the black plastic portion of the back sights). Plus, the back sight was moved too much to the side.

Not surprisingly, it shot up and to the left. I now have steel night sights from meprolight professionally installed.

My new 20SF also shoot high with what ever I feed it. I changed the sights to a set of Meprolit's and it is still the same. I guess I will go the Dawson Route.

My 21 shoot's my Handloads a couple inches high at 25yds but my 20's throwing a FOOT high at 50yds...That aint good!

Glocks are designed to shoot 10 cm (a little less than 4 inch) high at 25 meters (28 yards) so you hit the center of an ISSF pistol target when holding aim at 6 o' clock of the black target. But 12 inch is a bit much, somehow a wrong set of sights found their way to your pistol during assembly, at least that is my guess. It wouldn't be the first time that a gun company puts a wrong part in a pistol.

Wanna run Night sights anyway so I guess I will get a set of Adjustable's, Anyone recommend a good brand? Looking at the Meprolight? Anyone run these? A model number would be helpful that way I dont go through this again?

i run the meps adjustable on my 21 because before I got my 29sf I would run a 10mm barrel in it and I needed the extra height for suppressed. They're great sights and I highly recommend them if you're going to go the adjustable route.

I have these on my G20 and I like them. They have been reliable and problem free. Meprolight CAT # ML - 20224.

I honestly can't say whether they will give you 8" of elevation adjustment at 25 yards. My original Glock sights were zeroed pretty good from the factory.
