Where are you getting 9mm target ammo?

Just checked ammo to go and sg ammo and they show no fmj. WM is obviously out of question for now...

Wholesale Sports. was just there yesterday picked up some HSM 10mm. Although they had 9mm and .40SW I did not get any. They even had butler creek ruger 10/22 mags in stock.

Standing for hours in the sporting goods department at Wal-Mart, waiting to see of the truck brought any ammo that afternoon. (kidding, but I've heard some people have done this)

No, you needed to start doing that about six months ago.
Reloading components, like factory ammo is in short supply now.

For a good while primers were about $25/1,000.

A couple weeks ago I bought 6,000 to add to the stash. They were $35/1,000.

This week the store has no primers, little powder and not much hope of getting more anytime soon.

Local gun store had a bunch $11.45 for Blazer i believe it what the brand was. So I got some and some new CC/SD/HD ammo trying some Hornady Critical Duty..they are all out of Gold dot 124 grain everywhere around me figured the Critical Duty was a decent alternative.

I'm getting my practice ammo from my garage:

So glad that I had a good supply of reloading components on-hand when the panic buying started. As was mentioned earlier, a brick of 1000 primers which was once around $25 costs about $34 now. I just ordered 5000 just to be sure that I'd have enough to cover my 3 gal bucket of yet-to-be-processed 9x19mm brass

I've been loading my own since 2011, and am really glad that I made the jump. If I can get my paws on some .223 dies, I'll be shooting that crap out of that stuff, too.

I wish you well on your quest for more practice ammo! It's so bad around here that .22LR can't even be found. I was joking with the guys at Cabela's last week, saying that if this silliness keeps up, I'll be eyeballing the Airsoft gear on my next trip there.

Well, once all this stuff settles down again.

Why aren't the reloaders selling their reloads? I would pay for reloads.

If nothing else that makes it a business with all the problems involved.

I got a bunch from Larry's Pistol and Pawn in Huntsville AL..

Guess they stocked up, they don't have an ammo shortage to speak of. But they are limiting how much you can buy in one day..

OK, I'm going to ask the basic question, what would it take to start reloading, just the basic equipment. Keeping in mind that in the event it doesn't work out, I don't have a fortune invested.
A couple things to keep in mind, it would have to be done in the house, any concerns with safety. No kids around.

Thanks in advance.

Even though some items are in short supply I have some stock piled for rough times.
