G26 Vs G27 mags

I have a G27 as carry. I only have a couple mags for it and want a few extra ones for the range. I can buy G26 mags cheap compared to what they want for G27 mags. I want to know besides the slightly wider of feed lips on the G27 mags.... any other differnces(I know the bullet indicator holes are also different) internally...spring floorplates...etc?

Can I load 9- .40 cal rounds into a Glock 26 magazine?..or 13-.40 cals into a G19 mag....of which I have bunches.

Just for the heck of it I tried putting 40s into a G26 mag. No go. Just use the correct mags.

It won't work reliably, no matter what you do to it.

They load into my G19 mags and function test...

Thanks guys. Just had to ask the experts. I am sure the inner dimensions are abit off. The 19 mag will only hold 12 and they are not moving as freely as they should. I do think it would work but not as EDC for sure... and they need some polishing up.

I will just pick up some 27/23 mags as spares.
