Albany NY gun show today

So, this was the first gun show I've gone to in NY since the new law.

Obviously no more ARs, AKs, Ect. Pretty sad. Prices were still crazy on most things. Mosin Nagants $200 and up, MAS 1936 $400, Ruger 10-22s $500, MAS 49 $1200, Garands $1500 to$2000.

Then I find something of real interest. A nice Rockola M1 Carbine. The more I look the more I like it. Non import marked Rockola barrel. Muzzle wear of about 1, nice and shiny. Looks to be all correct? Can't be..... Marked Bavaria Forestry Police. Pirice $800. Offered $750 and its all mine. I get it home and take it apart, trigger group is Rockola. Notice serial number on receiver matches the serial number on the stock and inside the hand guard. The only negative thing I can find is the stock has had a repair made to it. Not bad, but visible.

I've been watching gunbroker for one for a while, and checking the local shops. This was the nicest I've seen under $1K. Very happy so far.

How are they selling 10/22's that are going to be illegal in a year there? I thought everything over 7 rounds was a no go?

10 round mags can be bought in NY until April 15. After that only 7 round mags can be bought, and existing 10 rounders will only be legal if loaded with 7 or less rounds.
