The anti 2A Phoenix police chief has to have one last party while he can, since destroying the guns will soon be illegal in AZ. The bill was already signed just recently.

A local Ffl should set up a nearby table and buy firearms for $50 more than the police are paying.

I wonder how close a can of black Rustoleum and some POS rifle would come to a $200 assault rifle...

Yeah and they've declared they'll no longer support any buy backs.

Remember that the new law prohibiting destruction of buy back firearms does not take effect for 90 days until after the legislature adjourns.. So it looks like Phoenix will still be able to destroy these firearms until then

These buy back programs are idiotic. They had one here locally a little while back. I saw people in there cars sawing the barrel off old rusted pieces of craps to make them illegal because legal stuff was worth $50 and illegal and "assault" firearms were $200, of course no questions asked. I even saw an air soft AR-15 on the table. I also heard someone brought in a non-working RPG launcher. I would have loved to have seen the expression on their faces.
