Everybody has their own favorites. I have Dawson's on one and Warren-Sevigny Tacticals on another. I like them both.

I can live with the stock sights as long as the front one is replaced with a metal sight instead of the factory plastic. That being said on the last couple Glocks that I've owned I had night sights and really liked them. Currently my G26 that I traded for has a night sight front sight and a totally black rear sight which I guess is better then no night sight at all,LOL. I'm fairly adaptable as long as the sights are easy enough to see. Some ml-spec 1911a1's have sights so small you hardly know that they're there. You should get a sight set that's easy to see and can be picked up in low light quickly since 9 times out of 10 that's when most defensive shootings will take place. As always, JMHO, YMMV.

Sights are like women. What appeals to one person may totally put another off. But, of the sights I have on my Glocks, I prefer the Trijicon HDs. My G27 have an older set of XS Big Dots. I used to think they were great, but over time am less and less happy with them. If every pistol I owned had them, I'd probably still like them. But, only my G19 and G27 have them and each time I go to the range, it takes a couple of mags to figure out how to shoot with them.

My G20sf and a G19 have Glock night sights. Those are pretty good too and for most people, would work well. My only issue with them is that I wear bifocals and most front sights get lost unless I crane my neck back to look through the near lense. When I shoot without prescription glasses and just use non-prescription shooting glasses, I shoot fine with them.

My G23 has Trijicon night sights and the brighter white ring is easier for me to pick up than the Glock sights and I can shoot that pretty well with the bifocals. My G21sf has a set of Trijicon HDs and right now I'm in love with everything except the price. Eventually, I'll install a set on the Big Dot equipped guns and maybe the G23 too, but the cost makes that a slow change over.

The thing I like about the HDs is how the sight picture is the same as on every other pistol I own and how that front sight absolutely grabs my eye. I've never shot a pistol with a fiber optic sight and cannot say how those compare.

I prefer amiglow ghost ring. 3 dots and a ghost ring does it for me. But I am not shooting bullseye comp.

Plates should be no problem, but precision.... I have area on each side of the front blade. My 1911 Gold Cup is better for precision because there is less gap.

Dawson Precision fiber optic front and blacked out rear sight works great for my gen 4 Glock 26. I can pick the front sight up much more easily with the fiber optic front.

Just put Ameriglo Pro Idots on my G19, waiting for my XS Big Dots for my G21. The Ameriglo rear dot is on the small side.

Standard factory Glock angled style sights or Meprolights here. They work good for me and all my guns have those sights on them so my sight picture is the same no matter which one Im using. Plus theyre direct fit so no filing or anything. I can put a set on in about 5 mins.

I guess that proves that they are the best if you don't have a problem with the size.
