Paraphrasing Robert Louis Stevenson: the Kings o' drinks, as I conceive them, are Islay, Lowlands, Talisker, Ardmore, The MacAllan.

I drink bourbon....... Good bourbon
Everyday drink- W.L Weller Antique 107 proof (from the Buffalo Trace distillery)
When I'm feeling good I have the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection on hand
George T Stagg 143 proof consistently voted Worlds Best Bourbon (rye mash bill)
William Larue Weller 126 proof (wheat mash bill)
Thomas H Handey 126 proof straight rye
All the above are barrel proof (no water added) unfiltered (none of the fats filtered out) straight from the barrel to the bottle
I also have...
Sazerac straight rye only 90 proof (cut and filtered) but 18 years old
Van Winkle Lot "B" 90 proof
Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 107 proof 15 years old
In the picture the 2 bottles on the right are very special...
The Eagle Rare is the original 10 year 101 proof out of production ~10 years and my last bottle
The last one on the right is an Evan Williams 200th birthday "Parlor Decanter" put out in 1982, and one FINE drink, that is the last of 3 I found in a hole in the wall liquor store in a 1 road town in Georgia. I was on my way from out processing at Ft Benning to Missouri and stopped for the tour at Heaven Hill and was telling the tour guide about them and he wanted to see one so got one for him. He took it to show to the president and one of the owners Mr. Shapira, who came out to meet me and said he had heard of it but had never seen one, so I gave him a taste.
In the second picture, yes that is a Cuban Cohiba Maduro #5
And my Christmas present from the wife

This works for me. Carlo Rossi Pisano (Italian red table wine) Guiness and Yuengling Lager and Yuengling Black and Tan. Yep,just a low class wine and beer guy.

Didn't mean to flake out on you all. Getting a case of old fezziwig? I've been trying to get one for years. That is now made at the PA brewery. It's one of the best beers to make chili with that I've ever tried
The whole Noble Pils situation has me baffled as well. We only made about 2000 barrels of it last year. When it first came out we didn't make enough. The second year we made too much and it's sales dropped. It's one of my all-time favorites. Right now I'm really getting into Dark Depths. It's brewed with a Porter style grain bill, pitched with lager yeast, and dry hopped like an IPA. Good stuff. I just wanted to say Thank You for the support. I also want you to know that the things I discuss here are my own opinions. I do not speak officially for the company (bosses make me say that on internet forums).
A couple new spirits made it home with me this weekend. I finally tried thr Glennfiddich (sp?) now I know what all the hubub is about. That's good stuff!
