Do you drive your car through the front door of a building to show your drivers license?

Most GTers only read the thread title before commenting.
Say, this makes me think - you've seen places like the Hard Rock Cafe with guitars and musical stuff all over the walls, or antiques or sports memorabilia, or whatever. Why not a gun themed restaurant with guns on display, hunting gear, specials with a CCW permit and such. Put it in a city and you'd certainly attract a loyal crowd.

I seem to remember a company looking to put such a restaurant in NYC. Can't remember what all came of it, though

I'm thinking more like Louisville, maybe near the Frazier museum.

Seems like a good idea, but I'd probably just pay for my food rather than outing myself. I do like the gun theme restaurant idea though.

I've never undertood the "OMG it's a secret" attitude a lot of people have here. I don't open carry, but I don't care at all if somebody knows I have a gun or sees it.

That is a restaurant that I would support, if they were closer. Wish a restaurant in this area would do something like that. Not that I am looking for free food. I would show them my CCW permit, and still pay for the food, to thank them for supporting the 2A.

Time to time when interacting with gun buyers, I've made mention I have a CCDW permit when for whatever reason they wanted to tell me they have one.
I don't open carry and I have no prob whoever wants to say they have a concealed firearm, but it's just an unwritten rule to try and be somewhat discreet.
