Water storage containers FREE
Ive been in the restaurant business all of my life and recently started saving some of the things I felt I may be able to use for prepping. Now after about 6 months of doing this I'm almost out of space. I have hundreds of 4 gallon jugs (used peanut oil jugs) and over 1000 1 gallon jugs (some glass some plastic). All are resealable with lids. My question - am I just being a typical "hoarder" or are there real world applications for these items. There is an endless supply (truckful everyday it seems). Would these items be of any value to fellow preppers. Maybe for sell or trade?

The bladders in 5 liter wine boxes can be cleaned and re-used. Just keep the valve open until they have a chance to dry out completely. They take up little space, and since they're "free" also you might as well keep a few on hand for an emergency.

I would guess you could sell them pretty easily on craigslist. The 4 gallon ones would be nice to have.

I have a few of those. If they are the same as the retail ones - I could find some uses, but not my first choice for lots of reasons.
