The "restricted in usa" was the stamp put on Glock magazines NOT for sale in the U.S. from Sept 94 to Sept 04.

Because of the Clinton Ban.
LEO's were the only folks allowed them.
There are Standard Capacity magazines. Check your state laws. Some only allow 10 rounds a mag.

Sure, they're legal, problem would be finding one.....they weren't made for the US market, which would seem to mean that they were never imported to the US, at least not by Glock.
Let me know if you find some, I'd like to get one too!

I have two Restricted LEO/Gov G19 mags laying around that I'll trade for two G30 10 rounders...

These were not legal even for US/LEO. The verbage is not AWB Compliant.
These were for non-US market. Without the markings, they would appear to be pre-ban and would be smuggled into the US for sale as pre-ban.

Restrictions? We don't need no stinking restrictions!
1) Check your local and states laws. Then move if appropriate.
I left the fascist state of California for one of the last great free states Florida!
2) Buy the latest factory hi cap mags for your gun.
I have three 22 round factory 40 Big Sticks - LOL!
Unless you just want the restricted stamp to be funny?
I'm thinking the stamped mags are older and likely have older followers.
You could just upgrade the followers on the older mags if you want.
I'm liking all new, all factory, stuff myself...

I am in Texas. No problems here owning any magazines.

I have 5 of them.

I want at least one of the "restricted in usa" magazines for my own collection. I already have many of the LE/Govt only stamped magazines.

Correct, not the same mags...hence the reason I put "Restricted LEO/GOV" in the post and not "Restricted in USA"...see Butchs pic, third from left...

I know all about it which is why I said " NOT THE SAME MAG", but it seemed as though you were implying that yours were the same as the OP's. I was just too lazy to post any pics.
Thanks Butch! Superb pics as usual.

There is still a law left over from the AWB that still applies to magazines. A permit is required to import them or have them imported. For personal use, the permit is free of charge though. A friend had some shipped to the US from overseas and they were held up in customs and the ATF sent him an application for a free, personal use firearm magazine import permit. This was long after 2004. He didn't get in any trouble and only had to get a permit.

I got one!!!
Got very lucky off of a gunbroker.com auction. Paid $27 shipped for it. I asked the seller if he had any more, he said the G17 it came with only had one.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=276070435
I placed a $100 bid on this magazine. I really wanted it. Now, if I can find a unique G18 magazine........

Staying outside of the USA, most of my magazines are marked like that as that was the era I got into Glocks.
Even 9 or 10 round Glock 27 magazines are marked as such. That is what I found the most novel as the ban was on 10+ magazines.

Then some steel guns.
Its the size of a Commander, got the capacity of a HiPower and can shoot 180gr bullets. G23 old school recipe for success.

I don't have any 9mm 33 rounders and the .40 ones are a new invention.
I will ask a few friends.
I have mags marked like this for 27, 17, 23 and even 20.
The 380 magazine has ribs and has no place for markings.

You can find mags on Ebay I just bought a lot of 4 G27 mags for $43. All in great shape. I don't recommend paying for it with your Paypal account. Ebay isn't strict on there "no gun parts" rule, but Paypal is and will ban your account and you credit card number for paying for anything related to guns (which doesn't make since because Ebay owns Paypal). I paid for mine with a money order.
