Cory Booker, once firm on firearms, now gun-shy about weapons ban

He is a Democrat that campaigned for Obama in two elections. He is no friend of gun owners.

Vote Republican.

He's going to be running for governor. As such, I'm sure he's not looking to make too many waves before the election. As with most Democrats from a blue state, I wouldn't trust him for one second not to push gun control when it's convenient.

Booker was nationally b***hslapped by Democrats when he came to the defense of Bain Capital, forced to "walk back" his initial comments in a humiliating Sunday morning political news program. He will be b***hslapped again over any vagueness regarding Democrats' campaign to void the Second Amendment, unless the Party commisars decide lying to gain a Senate seat trumps everything (which we know is their m.o.).

I don't think he runs for Gov, he would have a better shot at US Senate.

I have to say this about Booker, I can't stand him, I dislike him, but I respect him. He's put himself in situations few politicians have to understand his people as well as to genuinely help them. I'll vote against him, but he has some honor and balls.

Sounds like Obama's pitch before the election, for gun rights, after ... screw 'em.
