Help dating an SKS

I realize this is an AK forum, but thought many of you might own sks's also.

I've just aquired a Norinco SKS through a trade.

Here's the info on the gun.

Digits in the triangle are 636
serial number 1625089 (G5)

I've found this sight that would suggest this was manufactured in 1957 if im reading the instructions right. below is the link i was checking out.
http://www.yooperj.com/SKS-24.htm

Any help would be appriciated. THANKS!

According to the site, my Yugo SKS was born in 1970.

Still going great.
