Man arrested for holding a baby and gun in a photo

Coming out of the Cincinnati area, a 22 year old man was arrested for posting a photo of himself with his daughter in one arm and a BB gun/pistol in his other hand.

http://www.wlwt.com/news/local-news/...?absolute=true

Photo showed it in his lap. Police charged him with child endangerment after baby-mama's mama turned him in.

I hope my ex-wife doesn't read this. I have a picture of my son and me standing next to a cannon at Fort Ticonderoga.

Another absurd overreaction by authorities.

IMO, this is a giant load of BS. I don't think he should have been arrested. "Child endangerment" can be a large interpertation depending on what type of judge or prosecutor you happen to face. I have a feeling this type of nonsense will continue to escalate.

Guess those people walking around Knob Creek with kids would be up Sheet Creek if the "right" person were to see them.

Anti-gun bed-wetters in action. It also smells of racism.

Absolute BS.

Every single gun owner needs to post pictures, RIGHT NOW on their FB page, of them and their kids posing with guns.

We are in an absolute WAR over our 2nd Amendment rights and gun owners need to start coming out in force or we are going to lose.

No. Absolutely not. As a matter of fact, everyone who has posted pictures with guns and kids should take them down until things clear up. This administration is going after you.

I wander what would have happened if he had been holding a hammer rather than a BB gun.

Wait, wasn't there a photography book that sold rather well with a lady that had a shotgun and a baby on her hips?

So what happens if a Medical Doctor holds a child? Are there not 191,000 deaths from medical mistakes a year?

I think there is WAY more to this story. Is the gun being pointed at the baby for example? Is he a felon who is not allowed to own a gun?

The picture is in the article. The gun is not pointed at the baby. The "gun" in the picture is not a gun, so even if he was a felon, still not a reason to arrest hin.

More baby Momma drama, with officials helping because a "gun" was involved.

If he is dangerous why is he allowed with the child? He appears to have visitation rights or people that allow him to visit the child. The picture is no reason to arrest him or keep him from seeing his child.

I had several pictures of my son(he is 11) firing his .22 rifle, a couple of my pistols, and a buddy's AR. My ex-wife petitioned Family Court to have me remove them. Her lawyer argued they were "bad pictures". The judge made me remove them.

Some of you guys might argue I should have refused, but when judge gives you the option of removing a few pictures, or having him revisit the conditions of my having full custody, I took the picutres down.
