2013 Check-In
So how's my fellow Kentuckians doing? Board has went quiet. Spend most of my time in GNG and Gen. Glocking. WHat's the word firearm and ammo wise? The LGS here in Paducah are all about bone dry. Did pick up a Gen4 G27 at a good price.
Try to look around and see what's up. I know Whittaker's have had those days people lined out to the street opening up. Found a place called Grand Rivers Antiques Shop that sells firearms and they still had some AR-15's in stock.

Howdy!
Just checking in. Been busy busy here with kids, work, and new gf (whoo hoo). I haven't been shooting much, and kind of waiting for this gun ban crap to blow over. Need to get back over to TG&G to do a little shooting and see if they have any ammo left. I'll probably get shootin outside on one of these warm days to blow off a little steam.

Let's see here. Had a gun show last weekend in Paducah. People were spending $2000 on AR-15's. The frustrated ones gobsmacked at the prices gave me a busy weekend of firearm sales. I have no .22, 223, 556, 9mm, .38, ,380, .40, or 7.62x39. Ready for the panic to be over with.
Got a letter from Ed Whitfield (R-KY) showing support for the second amendment. I know that Senators McConnell and Paul are on board. Don't know about Gov. Beshear. What do y'all think?

Most places I've been to are pretty dry, but 111 Guns on Hurstbourne in Louisville is doing a pretty good job of keeping at least one or two of some kind of evil black rifle in stock. I haven't even tried to look for 5.56 or 9mm or anything like that, though there does seem to be a bit of .40 around. I sold my AR back in October to pay some bills and was looking to replace it, but I don't know if its worth paying these inflated prices right now. I did find a local place for blue-label Glocks and may end up with a Gen-4 G27 or G22 before it's all said and done, though.

I currently have Gen4 G27 on layaway. I'll get it out once the IRS processes my tax return. Damn fiscal cliff

I work in Ohio, a small Gun shop in Newtown (OneShot) has plenty of ammo. Been able to slowly stock up on 9mm and 40. 5.56 is hit or miss but they do have it most times. Since this has all gone down picked up a Sig P226R in 40 cal. I can't wait for this to calm down. I have not been to the range for a month, not wanting to expend my ammo.

I made my feelings on the issue clear, and I ask each of you to do the same.

Made the rounds in Lexington, Nicholasville and Paris this past week and found plenty of ammo and great selections of AR's. my father in law, who is a big hunter, proponent of the 2nd amendment, and gun collector even but has never purchased, owned or fired a military styled firearm in the past has also recently purchased 4 AR's. gave one to both of my brother's in law and gave me one as well. Said his next bulk purchase will be 5 tactical shotguns

Glad to meet y'all. I'm just trying to keep the board from going desolate like it did last year.
Nothing really exciting right now because of this cold ass weather. Waiting for warmer temperatures so can I go shoot and fishing.

I went in there yesterday. It wasn't too busy, lots of ar's and ammo. It's been packed elbow to butt hole, but the past few days have been pretty calm. I think people are running out of money.

You know, I've got a good bit of family down that way. Mostly around Munfordville.
