How is the gun show?

Anyone go to the gun show in Chantilly this weekend? Is it the utter pandemonium that I am assuming it to be?

Was there yesterday from approx 10:15 until Noon, very crowded. Got some new leather from Wild Bill's and a case of Federal 9BP.

Lots of nice blue steel and walnut long guns to look at and prices seemed reasonable. Stayed away from the crowds at the Black Rifle and magazine tables (not that there's anything wrong with that of course).

Common statement from the vendors I talked to was Friday afternoon was chaos and Saturday morning may have been held down by the weather (was still snow/sleet/rain while I was there).

Though I didn't go, friends say it was packed. With all the panic buying going on, I figured as much. The Washington Post also had a write up about it.
A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.

Did you need 5.56 for $1000/case? If you didn't need it that bad, it's a good thing you stayed home.
