When the media gets these simple terms wrong you wonder what they get right.

But then with the MSM being a section of the obama white house, they are probably being told to keep saying the term "assault rifle", "hi-cap clips", etc. You know, for the children.

When are we going to get these weapons of war off our streets? It's just common sense. They aren't needed for deer hunting and have never been used in self defense.

Heard a lot of the above over the past month

But, but it's for the children.

I can't use a .223 for deer hunting, the state (I think most of them) says it isn't powerful enough.

According to Whoopi it's too powerful for deer hunting. There wouldn't be any meat left ...

O'Reilly was talking about "magazine clips" yesterday. At least some idiots are starting to say "magazine". And he didn't even use the phrase "heavy weaponry" once. Progress.

A few years ago U.S. Representative Dianna DeGette from Denver called High Capacity Magazines "Rapid Fire Clips" and stated that these "clips" enable "assault rifles to shoot really fast."

When people say clip instead of magazine, that really doesn't bother me. I just cringe at the ignorant crap that follows, such as enabling "assault rifles to shoot really fast".

"assault magazines" amused me lately.

Ive got some "high velocity clips" for an 03 Springfield. I've got a pretty good arm and can throw them pretty hard.

The Vermont bill uses the term "multiple-ammo clips". This is official legislation, mind you. It's downright scary.

Can't argue with whoopi. That would be racist. After all, she is part of the Hollywood elite. You know, the gun experts.
