Beretta PX4 Compact
I have a chance to grab one of these in a trade. Anyone ever own one? What did you think? It's probably to thick for IWB carry but I need another 9.

Just got one for my daughter. I like it and, more importantly, she likes it. We don't have enough rounds through it for a comprehensive statement of reliability, but, so far, so good. And yes, it does shoot good. Go for it.

Kinda local FFL has .40 Beretta PX4 police trade-ins for less than $400.00, right now.
He says he has 11 remaining.
Most are in NON-issued condition.
Comes in factory plastic box and 3 magazines.

Guy called me back I ended up getting it. What a sweet shooter! I maybe paid a little much with my trades but oh well, I needed a gun for my NRA class next week. I am getting certified to teach CPL classes in Michigan and my only carry gun I had before this was a Titanium .38. I had to buy a new car last month so I had to sell a couple others off.
This is going to be perfect as loaner gun for classes, low recoil and all.

Put about 75 rounds they so far. I really like the trigger, nice and smooth. Very accurate at 20-30 feet also. What I don't like is the location of the safety. I practiced several times going from safe to fire and unless my thumb gets another 1/8" it's not a good design. I used to have the 92fs and that was a better position. Not sure ill carry it but it will be good for the range.

If you can live without the safety you can convert it decocker only by taking one spring out.
