Newbie Glco owner in Lone Star State
New to Glock, not to TX. N HOU.
I recently got 2, 23 and 27. Gen 4s. At Academy.
And a 9mm lone wolf barrel for the 23.
Also a Raven VanGuard2 holster. Just got a PHL Skeleton in the mail yesterday and a mag carrier.
Raven is a dream to wear. Just started wearing the skeleton and can tell I will really like it.

Well, it is a problem that feeds on itself; fewer folks post anything here, which means not much new is to be found to read, so I visit this sub-forum less often.
There used to be range meet-ups posted in here from time to time, but back then, my elderly F-I-L, who was living with us, kept us tied down, close to home. Now, I have more freedom to drive a longer distance, there seems to be no range meet-ups.

people in el paso don't seem to frequent many boards. Any suggestions on forums that are texas based.

Well, it's hunting season. Weather is still good enough for fishing, camping, hiking, ect. Some of us dont live our free time infront of a computer.

i know i don't understand it. there must be a fourm or board for el paso shooters to exchange info. i know there are a bunch of shooters out here but they don't seem to communicate to one another.

It looks like the entire WhereULive section of GT is mostly quiet, lately, so it is not so much a Texas thing.
Anyway, I hope we are all having a safe and happy Christmas.
It is a bit somber around here, with the line-of-duty death of one of our small city's police officers, and the death of a local business owner, in one sad incident. (Bellaire, Texas)

I think the Texans get intimidated by El Paso. They all claim to be from "West Texas." Argued with a guy in Dallas about what West meant. He insisted Dallas was West Texas! Not even.
My sentiment is that if you're not in the Mountain Time Zone, you are NOT in WEST Texas!
Sorry about the rant. Texas is too good to argue about.

Not I, I'm in Central Texas. Which is deceptive to say the least. Maybe more like North Central Texas.
