• Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

(b) Purpose- It is the purpose of this Act to restore safety to America's schools by allowing staff, teachers, and administrators to defend the children and themselves.

I'm actually a bit confused on this one. I know that in 1 district in TX, they allow teachers to carry OTJ if properly licensed. TX (I believe) is looking into expanding this to the entire state, effectively getting rid of the Gun Free Zones for staff only. So if states already don't have to follow the law, then why this bill worded in this way? Will it cover a private citizen legally carrying into a school? If so, then great. If not, it needs to be reworded.
