Fobus Ankle Holster-Ruger LCR
Can anyone give me some info on how this holster feels when worn and how solid the pistol is held in it?

Sorry, nothing on the Fobus. But I just ordered a DeSantis model in elastic with lambs wool lining for $29 at Natchez Shooters Supply yesterday. Name brand with good "street cred" for pretty good price. For small revolver or small-frame semi-auto. Can't wait to try it.

Thanks Robert. Let us know how well you like it. I will check it out also.
Do you remember what model it was?

I tried one briefly but I couldn't get it to work for me. The only ankle holsters I have used consistently was the Galco Ankle Glove and the Desantis Die Hard Ankle Rig.

Still waiting on its arrival, but it was the DeSantis Apache model. Looks good and I've seen sheepskin or lambswool lining as the way to go. This is one reason I settled on this model.

I find the Fobus ankle holsters to be comfortable. The main benefit is it holds the handgun securely without a thumbbreak strap which makes for easier access and draw,

So what holster would you recommend for ankle carry?

I use an Alessi for my Kahr CM9. Comfort and quality cost $. Never been a fan of cheap holsters, especially one your gonna wear on an ankle.

Well I received my holster today and they shipped the wrong one! Guess it was a blessing in disguise so I called and got a RMA and swapped it for a Gould & Goodrich B516-2.
