A Day of Firsts
Purchased and fired my first handgun today!! I purchased a used Glock 19, that I think is a 3 Gen 9mm for $429. Bought a hundred rounds and went to an indoor range and when I was finished I smiled the whole drive home. Ready to go back tomorrow. This site looks like its going to be very helpful in educating me on this awesome weapon!!

Thanks, I hope this isnt to much of a noob question and I probably should have asked before I bought the gun but here goes, I'm left handed and is it possible to switch the magazine release to right side of the gun so that my thumb can release it?

The Gen 4's can be switched, but not the Gen 3's.

I to shoot left handed....but have always used guns that were made for right handed users.....I got use to it.....I switched my G19 over to left handed and after about 10 trips to the range switched it back. I've developed a way/system that works for me....yes a little slower and maybe more risky when changing magazines but it works for me.
