Yep. Well it doesn't sound that exciting to me.

Not just a forum could actually mean that it is still something forum-like but they consider it to be better than a forum

Yeah, I think they were surprised by the extreme underwhelm!
They're probably rushing to prepare ads and marketing materials for something else in their pipeline as we speak.
Probably something simple like the beavertail back straps. (Which I will buy for my Gen4 G17)
With ShotShow next week, any new models would be announced there, not on Facebook/Twitter.

Correct...as in:
It's not JUST a forum...it's a forum AND shwagg store! Answer questions! Earn points! Redeem points for cheap junk made in third-world sweat-shops! That's right, a forum where the only thing you'll hear is the kool-aide talk that makes Glock happy! All the joy of having no real freedom of speach combined with trinkets you're accustom to seeing on the mid-way of your county fair!

Maybe they realized at the 11 th hour of the release of their forum that people would be let down with just a forum and are now scrambling to get somthing "awe inspiring" together..

I didn't read all the replies, but my guess is a 10 round GLOCK revolver, to get around semi-auto and "hi-cap" mag bans...

If its not a single stack 9mm or a rifle/carbine I don't care. Fake hype is stupid.

It's a finger print system that is going to be implemented on the grip of all new Glocks so only the purchaser of the pistol will be able to shoot it.....GlockID

Or a ****ty online community.. Wher we can discuss how all if us solve our brand new glock issues that they can't seem to get right.
Sad when users of Glocks help eachother out more than the manufacturer/company.

Yes, or a .45, or .22 double stack.

They're really turning me off with their fake hype and lack of innovation. I love my G19, but I doubt they'll see my business again with their current lineup. Much better and nicer options out there these days.

I agree with this! Glock is slowly falling behind the curve. Don't get me wrong they still make an excellent pistol but so does everyone else nowaday's. Springfield and Smith and Wesson now have the XD's and M&P's which matches the capacity dependability of Glock. One could successfully argue those products have surpassed glock in term's of ergonomics and certainly in innovation. Rather then have their Gaston's rule with his iron fist and tell the customer what they want to buy in a pistol. They are listening to what the customer has to say and are responding with some excellent new offerings ex: shield and XDs. I hate to say it but I do not think we will see any new products like a single stack 9mm or carbine until Gaston gives up running Glock.

Point taken...delete reference to "Muslim Prez." Replace with "empty-suit Chicago pol Socialist Prez."
There...everything I said is true.

As much as I hate the hype machine and wish they would make a single stack 9mm.........They have been running at full production capacity forever now, and only getting more backorders. Pretty tough to tell a company in that situation that they are doing something wrong.

The G19 that inspired my name is gone, replaced by a SA XD. Unless Glock comes out with something innovative I will soon be Glockless. Step it up.
Now, back to bashing Glock's PR nightmare
