The Glock ID thing doesn't make sense to me. They announce on FB on the 3rd that "there's big news in 4 days".
The Glock ID thing was listed on their FB thing on the 4th. Ummm.... how is that 4 days?
If that's it, they sure did a terrible job of keeping THAT big news under wraps.

Interesting to see they haven't made their "big" announcement yet. They are most probably shocked that the idea of Glock ID is not receiving a warm welcome. They either figure the ungrateful masses don't appreciate their efforts, or they are trying to dust off something from the marketing departments file of dead ideas to come up with.

I remember about 18 years ago when I first entered the Marine Business there was a conversation between me and the owner/president of a large boat manufacturer. I was doing my damnest to convince him to build a certain style/model of boat. Finally after a rather short discussion the owner/president asked me how many Airplaines I had......end of discussion. Mr. Glock probably has an ego the size of Texas so you can't tell him ****!.

He said "slim" single stack .45. Compare the G36 to the XDs, and you'll see what slim means.
