Article 1:Section 26 of the AL constitution already covers the right to bear arms. The problem I suspect lies in how the courts have interpreted this section, much like it is in other states. As always, it doesn't matter what the words in the document say all that matters is what the judges decide it means.....and that is where our rights get screwed over time and time again.
