He sure has one puffed up resume. I saw a listing where he apparently did a few brief UC deals with guys from my agency, while he was assigned to a very small LE dept., and that got listed on his resume as making it look like he worked for us as some kind of super duper undercover agent.

I love guys like him who have listed every single school or training or joint operation they ever went to or on, in a "how great I am" resume.

You have to be impervious to being called out as BSer by the guys who know, and apparently, he is that in spades.

That explains it - I figured those tattoos would have hurt too much for Yeager.

Guys like this are a hoot in the airport too.
Nothing like watching them sit in the bar looking like a catalog for 511 gear, way too loud, way too happy to tell everyone just how cool they are.
Meanwhile, the real deal is sitting there reading a magazine, eating almonds and hoping when he gets where he is going he wont work with that jerk.

It's amazing how many of these "experts" with little experience have marketed themselves into the head of their own little cults.

The video of photographers down range on a hot range is simply jaw dropping.

Where do guys like Yeager think that kind of stuff up?

Yeager is a marketing genius.

That said, I wouldn't take him to an Easter Egg Hunt.

I can understand seeking cover while being fired upon, but becoming an ostrich is not going to help your team nor is blaming the rest of your team for a failure. The scenario that occurred with Edinburgh Risk was a Charlie Foxtrot of major proportions and I agree it was not limited to Yeager's failures alone, but he contributed to overall failure of the team.

Anyone with real world experience can admit that bad things happen and things don't always go the way you want them to, but you have to be quick to make decisions to turn the outcome in your favor, not tuck your head into the sand.

In the end, this is something that Yeager is going to have to live with and I am sure if he could go back, he would have changed his actions that day. If he is teaching his students how to operate so that they don't regret something the rest of their lives, then I could give a nod to that.

I would have respected him if he came forward and admitted his faults as part of the team.

I have worked with Brits who have a special hatred for that man.

I dot know much about the dude other than his YouTube vids and the famous ambush. He's a cocky d bag that dresses like a jersey shore reject.

I don't know much about tactics and war, but I'm not sure I'd sit and have a shoot out against 7.62 with my mp5 or g19... What do the actual combat vets think he should have done?

5.11 cargo pants, 5.11 shirt tucked in. Freaking drives me nuts. If you want to wear a ball cap or cargo pants, no big deal, but at least try not to look like you're wearing a khaki tuxedo.

I dont do security contracting, I do work in that field though.
You would be amazed at some of the things you will see people do.
There are guys I wont work with anymore, more than a few will act like that guy, they usually go home early for one reason or another.

I didn't even know who he was until someone posted a "James Yeager isn't a Coward and challenges you to a duel" video on FB. Still don't know exactly where this report is that led everyone to call him a coward, nor do I frankly care I guess, because I didn't feel the need to break out my Google-Fu.

Seeing him respond by challenging people to a duel made me realize he's not the person I would want training from. Seemed like Kindergarten playground crap, which isn't how you should run a business. All this is my opinion.

I dont know if I would care to "train" with those folks.
I tend to assume that most people are pretty stupid, now mix pretty stupid and firearms and someones going to have a ND.
I really prefer the folks I shoot IDPA with, it isn't perfect, but no ones going to pull off a near ballet like move any time soon.

All I can say is it is only a matter of time before that photographer wins the Darwin Award.

I can't even begin to imagine what the photographer was thinking standing downrange while students are shooting, on the move no less. I also cannot imagine what the hell the students were thinking actually firing with him there.

Just more proof the Mr. Yeager is a complete moron.

Can somebody give me a link to the video showing him running away and leaving a brother behind? Ive seen links were they were under fire but no running away.

Also can anybody provide the link that shows his blaming the other guy for the death?

Well if the camera guy catches a round I just hope his camera falls in such a way to get Yeager rabbiting out in the opposite direction as fast as his too-small Affliction shirt and white tattooed Oakleys can take him.

Nice. He must be a member of the Westboro baptist church to have that kind of faith in people!
