I found the ammo motherlode

Accidentally.

Made a quick pass through the local Wal Mart today just to see if by chance they had anything in stock. Got to chatting with a guy who tells me there's a ammo wholesaler type just up the road. The guy doesn't know his name or the name of the business but tells me how to find his shop. I've never heard of this.

I can't go so I call a friend who goes. He finds him. The guy has pallets of every damn thing. He calls me and says he has everything. Cases. Whatcha want?

So I ask about prices. Everything is within $5-$10 of what it was pre Sandy Hook. So I place my order. He's delivering it tomorrow.

So my checking account gets a few grand lighter tomorrow but I have a nice, heavy delivery of .308, .223 and 9mm coming in the morning.

I can't believe in all these years I've never heard of this guy but I will be meeting him in person on Monday. It's bizarre but I'm happy.

Start saving brass, because Joe Biden is leading a task force to make things difficult for gunowners and they're likely got something planned to raise ammunition costs.

Quit telling people to reload. it is hard enough to find components already.

I've always saved brass but don't have time to reload. I'd like to find an illegal immigrant that I can exploit and pay a nickel a cartridge to sit and reload.

No kidding, my local shop told me today they are getting out of reloading due to the profit margin and hazmat costs.

Bring a heavy along or bizarre may not to begin to describe the deal.

What? He's got a storefront. My buddy bought it all today. Buddy is delivering it tomorrow. Apparently he's been there for years. Customers in and out.

Bizarre is that I never heard of him before and that his inventory is so strong.

They can't compete with online retailers.

When WalMart stops selling ammuntion, alot of guys here will have to sell their guns and take up golf. If you are not reloading then you are really not in the game.

I found the ammo motherlode too. It's in my basement, where I built it up since the threat of barry getting elected for the first time became a reality. WM probably has as good a buy price as any retailer, one-step distribution model, and therefore better profit margins than other outlets. They won't forfiet that advantage for the sake of politics. I observe some stupid inventory stocking level decisions, but the won't abandon a profitable product line, ever.

With a Dillon 650, you'll be paying him about $20/hr. do it yourself. Lol

When is that? You seem to know the corporate strategy.
