Liberals Panic As They Lose the Gun Narrative

http://townhall.com/columnists/kurts...ative-n1473885

At least someone isn't riding the Doom Express.

When you argue for a living, you can tell how an argument is going for you. The evidence and my gut both tell me that the liberals have lost control of the gun control narrative.
I think he's right. But keep up the pressure just the same.

I wonder if the fiscal cliff is going to cause them to loose this.

Oh please the libs and the media having been "milking" SandyHook victims since Saturday since the last burial. CBS on Christmas milked the story of SH, even with the Gangster "kids" is about to break 500 dead in Chicago.

I honestly think people are going to feel different after the new year, like it happened a long time ago.

I agree. Keep the pressure on the liberals; strategically we can win every argument but lose the war if we stay only defensive. Hope to see more articles with pro gun, pro liberty talking points. Keep them on the defensive, force the gun grabbers to explain why they should take away freedoms.

I'm not running into any pro-gun or anti-gun-ban articles in regular google searches. I only see them here on GT. What I find on google is lots of anti-gun, pro-ban articles and editorials. Don't, for a minute, think the media does not have a full-court press on or that Obama or any other politician has washed their hands of resurrecting the AWB.

This is the second time I've heard the "blue ribbon panel" used to signify that the door is closed for the gun grabbers.
I also agree that red state democrats won't jump on the gun grabber band wagon.

A quote from the comments on the article:

Quote:
Political power comes from the barrel of a gun.

This is why those who hate freedom also hate and fear an armed nation. It is not possible to make slaves of people who will shoot you dead for trying. Attempting to enslave a politically empowered (aka armed) nation is nothing more than an elaborate means of committing suicide.

The fundamental human right to keep and bear arms is the foundation of popular sovereignty in America. It is what makes this a nation whose citizens are their own masters, and more importantly masters of our government. The alternative is a country peopled not by citizens, but by subjects, beholden and subservient to the state. This is what would-be tyrants of every political stripe dream of.

The hope that I have is that even after one of their own was shot in AZ a while back you did not see Congress rise up for gun control. After the AWB passed in '94 there was a bloodbath of the ones that voted for it. They just barely got it passed when the DEMS controled both houses and the Pres.

Exactly. On ebay I'm seeing Glock 17,19,22,&23 mags going for around $60.00 and Ruger BX-25 mags going for $90.00. Heres a Glock 33rd mag that went for $140.00 on ebay. This is getting insane.

How? Full-cap mags are banned from ebay. Technically those are all violating the TOS.

Of course the further we get from an event the more things cool down. Until the next event. We're having a high-profile AR shooting almost every other week or so now.

I predict that decision will be reversed in short order. I'm amazed it hasn't already, frankly.

Or not, EBay is making a lot of money in final value fees.

From the article: (on appointing Joe Biden as lead guy on this gun grab. . . )

"like staking a vampire through the heart, then hosing him down with holy water before burying his body beneath the Gilroy Garlic Festival."
