When Do We Actively Resist?

I believe it can be said that current federal gun laws are unconstitutional. Based on that premise, I'd say that any new gun-related laws, except for laws to repeal, are pretty much going to be pushing us beyond a tipping point.

If the sheeple of this country choose, in mob-rule fashion, to strip/gut the most essential parts of the 2nd amendment...

WHO will resist?
WHAT will YOU do to resist?
WHEN do YOU resist?
WHY will YOU resist (or not resist)?
HOW will you resist?

Somebody's sig line here says something like:

"If you get mad as hell and can't take it anymore, run out into the street with your gun! If you're the only one there, it's not time yet."

I like it.

(I haven't googled it to see where it really came from, yet.)

I googled it just now.

The post immediately above this one is the only one that came up.

I remember that there is a word for a google search that comes up with only one result. I don't know what that is. Somebody else google it for me.

I would hope the majority of police would no be so stupid as to try and go door to door to confiscate guns.

That's never happening in the south, Midwest, Alaska, etc.

Nobody is going to resist. Not when most americans are dependent on .gov from entitlements to a retirement check. They won't bite the hand that feeds them.

Americans used to roar like lions for liberty, now we bleat like sheep for security.

Once again, I'll repeat the words I heard from a smart man recently. "The tyranny is here, and you can't shoot it."

And what happens when the system collapses and there is no more treasure in the coffers?

We gun owners have the numbers to elect and do anything we want politically, but we won't/don't.

Hell, most can't be bothered to contact thier Sen./Rep. much less resist.

We have gun owners voting for obama and the democratic party knowing full well what was going happen while proclaiming, proudly, I might add, that Obama won't touch firearms!

I have no faith in the people.

If a gun owner lives under someone like Feinsteinn then what are they supposed to do?

You think people haven't already sent her letters opposing her? You think it matters?

Look at who the biggest donors are to both major party candidates.

With that kind of cash neither side has to give a damn about you.

The candidates who get their funding from actual people are completely brushed aside as "loons" who have no chance.

Yea, and look at what the governor of Mississippi said after Katrina. You loot, people will shoot and will be correct in doing so.

New Orleans is a corrupt cesspool.

Most gun owners won't do anything doesn't matter who the rep/sen is. We have other gun owners like fudds who are willing to appease the anti gun people.

It's might be better than these silly "hit this poll" threads that show up from time to time.

They will if one half of one percent of gun owners showed up in DC. But that will never happen.

Third parties don't win elections and neither do establishment republicans who collects SS while campaigning against it.

Yea, move away from a place many have lived all their lives and whose families live there.

Easier said than done.

Again, voting is an illusion. Has been for some time now.

A government maintaining an empire has long ago ignored the people and the constitution.

Perhaps when there is no more Internet or cable tv people will actually take notice.

You talk about how "we gun owners have the numbers", yea and then they vote for someone like Romney because that's who Fox News told them to vote for.

That's because, believe it or not, "gun owner" isn't a political affiliation.
