Civil War Within The U.S.?

Without giving crazy or stupid comments....

Think about all the pistols and rifles and ammo and high cap. mags. sold here in the United States in the past... lets say 10 years...especially the last five years.

If the government in the worse case senario ordered a confiscation of said weapons just like England did.

Do you really think people like ourselves would just let the government march in and take our arms which we have thousands invested in?.....without starting riots and mayheim or perhaps a civil war....hell no! and the government knows this.

That is why if the government just bans certain arms like AR's AK's and high cap. mags. and taxes the hell out of ammo. it serves its purpose without too much uproar. You would be able to keep what you have ...but perhaps not be able to leave the house with it.

My point is ....they don't have to kill the 2nd amend. masses body!..all they have to do is break our arms and legs..they get what they want without all the collaterial damage.

Lets just hope the NRA and paid off politicians do what they are suppose to and it doesn't come down to this.

What say you.

They don't have to do anything dramatic - all they have to do is tax it. Look at a ammo tax or gun tax like there is for a suppressor. The suppressor tax was established at $200 in the 1930. That would be 2,635 today.

To answer your question though, I don't know. One would like to think that the masses of gunowners would try to stand up against it, but in reality, until it happens, we won't know if they will or not. There are ppl on this very forum that have stated that they will meekly, albeit tearfully, turn in their equiptment if so directed by the law. I hope we don't have to find out. In the meantime: Happy Shooting for a Better Tomorrow!!

..then vs now..

..$200 then is more like $15,000, $20,000 or more now!

The simple answer is to vote the crap out and get like minded americans in office.

We've always been silent, content to go on with our lives, work, family etc.

It's time to be vocal, it's time to let Washington know the silent majority that believes in liberty won't be quiet any longer.

tax the hell out of what they allow you to keep for now and toss you in prison for having the stuff they dont want you to have.

all you have to do is get in a car wreck on the way home from the range with your gun they dont want you to have and the cops will arrest you bedside, maybe in the ambulance if youre not hurt enough.

this door to door stuff is for idiots, all they have to do is wait for you to make a mistake, use it in self defense, whatever and thow you in prison. once that happens to a few folks the rest will fall in line.

look at new jerseystan, ccw is inobtainable for the working man, and if he does ccw and uses it for self defesne he will get a pass on a righteous shoot then canned for ccw.

Civil war? not now. The future is questionable - 10 yrs, 20 yrs, etc. Putting aside the whole gun control issue, we cannot survive as a nation with the economic train wreck we are taking. And our gov't has continued to expand. I see nothing that will stop it until we endure an economic collapse that will take many years to fully unfold.

As for writing your reps and getting involved, I lost a lot of faith in the American people in this last election. I am a member of the NRA and GCO. However I have no faith in our people. I am convinced that we experienced a transition in this last election. We now have more parasites voting than we have hosts. The parasites will be relentless in working to ensure their hosts never regain power. The MSM is fully behind the Big Gov't and liberal ideals. So write the reps? I guess...but I don't see much coming from the action.
