Just saw my old pet snake "Bitey" on TV

TV show "Killer Karaoke" hosted by Steve-O
Just saw it for the first time tonight at a friend's house, and I immediately recognized my two old pet carpet pythons being used as props on the TV show in the money tree segment. I sold the snakes a little over two years ago to a friend who is a reptile dealer and also does TV and movie stuff like Fear Factor. It has been confirmed those two snakes were the ones I thought I saw. For the record, they are super tame and I handled them daily for the ten year I had them.
The Okie Corral
"Bitey" is the larger of the two with better color and contrast, female
"Bitey's b1tch" is the smaller dumpier looking male
You can't tell in this photo, but it was the only one I found

They look beautiful. Why did you let them go? And how big are they?

I got them as hatchlings, they were tiny. Ten years later, the female was nine feet and a couple inches, the male was eight and a half feet long.

Very good climbers, they are Diamond Python crossed Jungle Carpet. For the first year, I had to dip the mice heads in chicken broth to get them to eat, as they prefer birds. Then again with the broth when they switched to rats.

I initially hoped they would be breeders, but the female never laid eggs. Tried various methods to cycle them, but diamond pythons are difficult to breed in captivity.

I sold them because my GF always hated and feared snakes. They were there before she was, and if they were in the cages she didn't mind (or go in that room). I had lost some interest after discontinuing breeding other snakes, but kept that pair as the pretty display snakes. I kept them for another five or six years, then finally gave the wife a break and got rid of the last two snakes.

That pic really sucks, they look dumpy as hell there.

I watched that one. Wonder how long the show will last?

I don't even have cable TV, so maybe I have lost touch with what America wants to see, but I doubt that Killer Karaoke will have a second season.
