If one (a medical professional) is that f'd up, don't stand up there for 10-15 mins rambling like....well, an idiot.
It would have been much better had he given a very brief statement and then walked off, instead of trying to answer legitimate questions.
Heck, tell them "I'll answer when I can pull myself together give me 24 hrs."
He came across VERY unprofessional.

When was the last time you responded to a mass casualty incident?
If you haven't had to deal with something that traumatic while having a job to continue to do then you have no clue.

I did, and thought he did a hell of a job considering he is a guy who's used to seeing old people who've died in their chairs...not a two rooms full of little kids still warm and dripping. The fact that he didn't wet himself while on camera is praise enough. HH

Sorry confused here. Does this mean all Utah Troopers are dishonest (who investigated him?) or all State Trooper including those in Connecticut or just say a couple hundred of the troopers on the scene and otherwise involved in the incident?

I agree his interview was at best disjointed. But my suspicion is that much of that stems from fatigue and the emotional issues of examining a bunch of dead children.
Someone should have got him a media specialist/public information officer. He should have himself, or the Governor or the S.P. or it should have been done under the incident command system. But it should have been done.
