I have been looking for a 10mm and figured that a Glock 20 was the best choice. My G20C was ordered on 12/22/12. It should arrive on the 26th or 27th. I am a 1911 fan and never even shot a Glock before.

As far as shooting goes I have a fairly nice collection of surplus and commercial arms. I do have a C&R and collect K98 and Yugo 24 & 48 rifles.

I have been reloading for 25+ years. Any new arm I get is fed reloads. I use a Dillon 550B and I am set up for 21 different rounds.

My current CCW pistol is a Ruger SP101 in 327 Federal or a Beretta model 84 in 380. If I get hooked on Glocks I might pick up a compact model.

You will love the 10 when loaded appropriately.... it is so versitile. I would have considered the C model if I could have gotten it in an SF

Well it's official I am a Glock owner. My G20C is home. The shop I ordered it through said the only weapon delivered today was mine. I reloaded a 100 rounds and should get to the range on Friday for the first run. First impression is "Wow if this lives up to it's rep it'll be a lot of fun".

I am struggling with removing the slide. My fingers are to big to get a hold on the slide locks. I watched several u-tube vids and it seams fairly easy. I think it will just take some practice.

If any one has a pet load for their 10mm I would welcome more data. Ralph

As far as pet loads hit either the 1b ring or the 10mm reloading forum....you won't be disappointed.

I've had my g20c for a couple weeks and also love it. I'm loadin 155 g hornedy xtp with 9.5 g of power pistol. Seems to like em very well.

My G20C made her first range trip today. I took along my Ruger Red Hawk, stainless 7 1/2 ported 44 Mag. and my Ruger SP101 in 327 Federal.

The load I worked up was 165gr jacketed flat points over 7.8 grains of Unique. Wow I like this pistol and the 10MM cartridge. The recoil was on par with my 44 mag. Report was about the same.

The point of aim verses point of impact was low and to the right by several inches at 7 yards. My bud that is a Glock Armorer said this is normal for someone that is more used to shooting 1911's. He advised more range time to get a feel for the grip.

I can see myself getting another Glock for concealed carry.

Welcome to the world of 10mm. The G20 and it's variants are the best Glocks made. If your going to own a Glock,,, the King Glock is a must.

Just wait until you put some real 10mm ammo through it. You loaded up bunny fart 10mm ammo. Come and see us in the 10 ring and reloading subforms.

An extended slide lock lever is available from Glock and others. Makes take-down a whole lot easier.

You will not regret purchasing the G20. I shot mine just one week ago. You can get a 10-40 barrel and it will shoot .40 S&W as well. I've shot weak to moderate loads in mine so far. I think the hottest thing I shot was some Double tap 180 grain fmc that was around 1250 fps. The other stuff I've shot has been Winchester Silvertips, Hornady XTP, Blazer and Atlanta Arms. I hope to obtain some Underwood in the future, but I've read it is best to put a heavier sprung guide rod spring before shooting the "hot stuff".
