Nice, he's been the incentive of me stocking up on ammo, reloading .223 for my AR and getting my SKS toned up.
I think there will be a fight over guns before he is done wrecking America

I just got an AMD65 and it has quite a muzzle flash. I wonder what that thing will do.

You're running a 12.6-inch barrel and 7.62×39mm right?
I think muzzle flash wise you've got me beat.
My gun has a shorter barrel (10.5-inch).
But the Arsenal SLR-106U AK Pistol is chambered 5.56/.223.
Obummer may stop ammo importation.
So I wanted to play it safe with a domestic caliber.
Plus she's just a 5.5 lbs gun.

Okay, Costa Rica is cheaper to live in than the United States, but it does still require some decent finances, more than most folks, especially if you are just haning out. So, obviously expendable income is not an issue for you. That usually goes a long way in countries like the one you are in. Costra Rica is a very small Central American Country with no standing army. Given the pictures, I doubt you are in an inland major city, like the Capital, San Jose.
So, I pose the question. If they allow you to have any weapon you want in San Jose, I am guessing that even the "happy button" isn't an issue. So, why would you come back?
Clearly, you are happy with what you have and where you are at. If you have already been down there, for what I can only assume is less than four years, and probably more than two, and are looking down the barrel of another four-that gives you about six years there more-or-less.
I am not trying to get all Westin on you; but, obviously the language isn't a barrier for you and in the time you plan on spending there the culture won't be either.
Again, why bother comming back?

Been trying to get one myself, but they are hard to find, and everyone is asking $700-800.

Arsenal SLR-106U 5.56 Krinkov Pistol = $862
But I waited until the eleventh hour (Dec 19).
And snatched the last one I could find.
Not the best price, but not crazy gouged either.
I didn't even know the pistol doesn't have to be 922 compliant.
She's 100% Bulgarian parts assembled in Bulgaria.
Plus runs on domestic 5.56/.223 ammo.
Grabbed some of the last Circle 10 mags too.
I'm feeling very, very lucky at this point.
Hope everyone else gets the things they want while they can.
