G30s
All Glocks are great, so there is no right answer. My preference, would be my new G30S. It feels good in the hand, conceals well, carrys 10+1, and it shoots .45ACP very accurately. Good luck and good shooting. Nuff said.

Agreed, but I like my G19 almost as much.
You really need both.

For me a gen 3 G21 I guess. Lots of conversion options in addition to being .45 acp out the box.
Not caring about conversion options, I'd go for a plain jane G17 for a variety of reasons.

I'd say my Gen2 G19. It's size-efficient for the amount of ammo it carries, and it is controllable even when that ammo is +P+. G26 is a close second for much the same reason.
I'm also a fan of the .45GAP G37 - great hand fit and .45 caliber in one package. I wouldn't want to go to a shorter barrel in .45 (either GAP or ACP) due to the attendant loss in velocity and energy.
G19! Gen2! Great together!

My newest, my g30 sf. Since CA limits my rounds, 10 of 45 ACP will have to do.

IDPA, concealed carry, and cheap target practice.
