1911's
I was moving some stuff around in my safe today and figured I'd take a pic of these. It's not the best pic, but it'll do.
There's a colt defender, 70's series, new agent talo, talo 1991.
Then out of Dan wesson I have a commander, valor ss, heritage, and a black valor.
Springfield trp full rail, range officer, mil spec, lw commander.
I have a kimber ultra carry and a gold match
Last but not least the ruger sr1911
Maybe I'll jump into the semi custom world this next year. Anyways, just thought I'd share

One of these weekends when I'm not too lazy, I'll have to do a Colt family portrait.

If you did one, I missed it and look forward to seeing your ponies. My best shooting 1911 is a Colt. I'm still jonesing for a Les Baer Stinger and I'm thinking that .38 Super might be the way to go.

Very nice collection, Matt.
However, when you take a family portrait, get them all in the same frame and all going the same direction.

What sort of semi-custom are you eyeing for next year?
Anything yet?

I'm saving up for a GI no name first. Then I'm lost from there? I've seen a few Wilson Combats that really caught my eye, and some Nighthawks.

Great choice on the NN.
Which Wilsons and 'Hawks do you like?

Me too. So far you've been killing me one pic at a time.
Brian was my initial dealer, but you are a pusher for sure.
Maybe worse since I have a weakness for shiny silver guns.

To be honest, I've just looked on gun broker and haven't paid a boat load of attention to which models (just because I want the NN first). I just like looking every once and awhile. I'm sure once I save up the money 3-4k range, I'll ask for everybody's advice. I'm only going to stick with commanders and government models. I'm not really a fan of the small ones, even though I bought some.
Added: I could really use your rock river 1911!! It is almost Christmas

That's exactly what I buy, governments and commanders. I do have a couple 4" barrels, but they're all full framed 1911s.
