Nothing. Other than getting ready for the christmas weekend, it'll be just another friday - writing paychecks and cussing tax rates. 
{edit - that's "nothing" in my own little sphere. There will certainly be a lot of "end of the world" bashes & binges, and there may well be some Hale-Bopp/Jonestown nutjob incidents, but I don't expect them to affect us at all.}

I have been through so many of these end of the world panics that a real end of the world occurance would be refreshing. Besides if you are a Christian so what? if you are an athiest then worry.

What about Muslims and Jews..Should they worry, or is it only Christians that shouldn't worry?

I am guessing they don't need to worry..
Jews don't believe that the messiah has come the first time, so they don't believe in the end of the world being around the corner.. no book of revelations for them..
Muslims.. I am not sure.. they don't believe Jesus was who christians believe him to be.. they do have an apocalyptic view.. but I don't personally know how they believe it goes.. maybe someone else does.. or has done the research..
Even as/for christians, there is debate.. the whole "pre-trib" vs "post-trib" debate.. but no christian religion that I can think of believes the world will just go "poof" and be gone.. I know the LDS sure don't..
OH, and I think the 22nd will come around just fine, just like last year, and next.

I was thinking to start a thread on the same subject too.
I don't think anything will come of it at least not all at once if.
But it will be another reason why people will not prep or take any warning seriously.

Had the Mayans had a larger circular stone, the calendar would have continued past the 21st. Just happens they had too small a rock to start with.

I'm throwing a shindig for the end of the world on the 21st. That way I can have it at my house and not have to drive anywhere and deal with any potential craziness from folks caught up in the idea. A mead that has been aging about 10 years is on the menu I think...
It will be interesting to see if folks make a run on the grocery stores though. Will the milk, bread and eggs be flying off the shelves when people panic buy like normal? Gotta make those french toasts come the apocolypse.

Yes, the world will end for about 155,000 people on that day. Such is how many people die each day. About the population of Fort Lauderdale.

Oh? So you think that a few years ago, a bunch of private sector IT firms got Federal grant money to get together and design, build and implement a software solution?
Because that's what we did back in 98/99...The reason Y2K never happened is because we fixed it.
