Fun day at the range!

I went to the range today with my dad and brought some of our toys with! I took my G27 and he had his G22, Colt MK IV .38 Super, and a S&W Model 66.

Talk about a difference between the 27 and 22! This was my first time shooting a revolver too and it was a lot different than I thought. After shooting .357 out of a 6 inch barrel, I could not imagine shooting it out of a snub-nose revolver. After a few rounds of .357, I switched over to some .38 SWC and it was light night and day.

Lastly, I shot the Colt .38 Super. My eyes hurt from that muzzle flash! I wish I would have gotten a picture of it. Anyways, I really liked the 1911 style of the Colt and my next purchase might have to be a gun of that style, maybe a Sig.

No pictures. I was having too much fun to remember to do so!

Nothing like a father and son putting holes in paper.
That .38 super is crazy, isn't it?
And you'll love the 1911. Many a 1911 fan is on this site. Glock fans too! Lots of fans of both!

Glad you had fun, my friend!

Once you get used to it, .357 from a light snub nose is fun, it just isn't for the beginner. .357 is my favorite round.

That .38 Super sure is Super. It definitely lived up to all of the hype I've heard about it. Not sure if I was more impressed with that round or the gun I was shooting it out of. A 1911 is for sure in my future.

That I could see. My first time shooting my G27 was an eye opener, but it got much better over time. My hand is still sore from those dang .357's!

I love some .357 from a 6" smith. Good times. I'm very interested in a .38 super 1911.

It was a blast. Both .357 and the .38 Super.

It's fun shooting a g19 then shooting your buddy's snub nose .357. Kinda makes you appreciate automatics and their recoil reduction lol
