Bought a 17 FDE

Picked up a new Gen 3 17 in FDE today. I was thinking about adding an FDE to my collection since they were released but haven't really seen them available locally. Can't wait to try it out. Seems my Glock collection is getting big. Do they ever stop multiplying?

When I got home I found this gun shares the same birthday as me. Thought that was pretty cool.

Nice 17. My next Glock will be a 17. I think I want a USA stamped 17 and a FDE 19. To many Glocks on my wish list

Very cool! I want to trade my black G17 for a Dark Earth model myself.

The date reference is a real bonus. I could never let that go if it were me.

I think it would be cool if Glock made FDE colored magazines to match these pistols...Nice gun Blitzo...I cant find a FDE Glock any where near me...)-;

I agree with you about the mags. I don't have much info on it, but it seems like Glock has made FDE mags at least once in the past in a small batch. I don't think the mags were released publicly. Would be pretty cool if the FDE Glocks came with FDE mags in the box.

I might have to get some after market FDE mag plates or some Krylon.

Did the OD Glocks come with OD mags?

If not, I doubt you'll see that happen.

Enjoy your new G17 - that is pretty cool about the matching dates.

No the OD's didn't come with OD magazines,although their were some made supposedly for contracts. When and if you see them for sale they are pricy $$$$. SJ 40

Nice 17! I have one in a Bianchi 4/4L holster on me right now. I bought it in 1989, converted it to Gen 3 two years ago, and it is 100% reliable.

Man those are really, really growing on me. You share a b day with the gun as well? That's awesome, perhaps it's meant to be! (It's at least a really good excuse to buy another Glock.)
