G19.. On a whim?

I already have a 19 w/trij nites I bought new in 2009. It has worked flawless for me. It's my EDC. Didn't need another, but a guy at work today was selling one (serial GCVxxx) for $350 so I said what the heck.

He said he bought it new in 2006. He added an extended slide stop and mag release. Also, sold it to me with 4 mags one being a 10rd and a Bianchi IWB holster. Decent deal I guess? Have not seen a used 19 in a while around these parts. Time to keep, not sell it seems.

Not sure if I'm going to send it out for a grip reduction (remove hump/finger grooves) and two tone the slide as I always wanted one like that or just let it sit as a back-up? anyhow it's a done deal now. Christmas gift to me.

I guess I was thinking back to 2008 when my LGS said the toughest gun to get at that time was a G19 followed by an AR-15!

Good deal. Nothing wrong with having more than one G19.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me also and locally used G19s seem scarce here too.

That's a great deal! Why can I never find a deal like that? A 19 is on my short list with a USA stamped 17.

You know, of course, that stealing is a crime?

Good deal, 19 will be my next gun to add to my 26 and 30SF. There was one for sale here locally for $500, I'd have jumped for $350!!!

Truglo TFO's = Fibre optic day and Tritium night. Best to try out at your LGS first to see how you sight them which ever you go with. Just like shoes one shoe does not fit all!

Nothing wrong with having an extra especially with a platform that is proven like the G19.
